Professor/Program Coordinator/Chief Enthusiasm Office of Creative Advertising at Seneca College @ York University in Toronto.
The Creative Advertising program focuses on the strategic planning and creative concept development of advertising.
As a former award winning Creative Director working on national brands in both Canada and the United States helped to develop my personal passion for nurturing and motivating new young talent. My idea of this comes from Karma and the following quote: “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.”
I wasn't sure I would ever get into this blogging thing... ever. But the time has come and here is the home of my thoughts, advice, references, tales, passion and feelings on advertising and the life involved within.
When I decided this was to be a "new" method or additional "voice" to my teaching, motivating and inspiring for my students and friends, my first thoughts turned immediately to time.
TIME! Something we all value and never seem to have enough of. That will be my guide. TIME. I will use mine wisely and respect yours, making the post relevant and timely.
So welcome. Spend some of your valuable time here hopefully to learn, share, be inspired, and maybe even entertained.

A Monument To An AdGuy... A Monument to Men From Phillips and Crispin Porter + Bogusky Europe.
Are you a vulnerable man?
If so, then this crazy new interactive concept which was recently launched by Phillips and created by Crispin Porter + Bogusky Europe wants you to create a statue of yourself. It's pretty simple, go to the "Male Monument" website, post and image and provide a creative reason as to why you're worthy of an actual tangible reproduction of the monument you create online.
Using either your webcam or upload a photo from your files you can create a "monument" to yourself including adding pigeon on your shoulder. The site employs a simple face recognition software that has been used on other online applications such as the uber-successful CP+B effort for Old Navy "SuperModelquins" and recently the Burt's Bees Blender campaign by Baldwin& of Durham.
Judges from Philips and CP+B will select two winners, each of whom will win an 80cm (approx 33 inches) monument of their entry. The winners will be announced on June 15, 2010.

I chose the metrosexual body.. it looked quite amazing lol.
Great spot and I enjoyed the addition of having the "MadLibs" like drop down menu near the end (engraving) for more fun.
Thanks for sharing Anthony :)
